AMFT #140623

Hi there, my name is Cassandra. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and former Certified SUD Counselor (CADC) dedicated to helping teens, adults, and families develop more meaningful and rewarding relationships with themselves and others. I leverage my broad professional background, which includes extensive work in residential, outpatient, community, crisis units, and school-based mental health settings. This rich experience allows me to deeply understand my client's needs and provide comprehensive support.

I bring a unique blend of non-judgmental clinical expertise and lived experience to therapy. This combination allows me to establish a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions, past challenges, and the obstacles hindering their desired future. My favorite approach involves utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS) to facilitate healing and transformation.

Individual Therapy:
My areas of focus include adolescents exhibiting concerning behaviors, addressing compulsive behaviors, chemical dependency, codependency, working with high achievers, neurodiversity, managing complex relationships, supporting adults who grew up with emotionally immature parents, and aiding adults in recovering from childhood adverse events (including CEN). Additionally, I am passionate about helping those looking to redefine their relationships with loved ones affected by compulsive behaviors.

Therapy for Teens and Families:

Adolescents hold a special place in my heart, and I am deeply passionate about supporting young individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors. Additionally, I am dedicated to working with adolescents who have a family member navigating the challenges of compulsive behaviors and recovery.

I provide guidance and support to parents who are worried about their teenager's behavior or the possibility of future mental health issues. I help them navigate their uncertainties and find clarity in their next steps. I tailor my services to meet your family's distinct needs and offer diverse options. I provide comprehensive assessments, effective case management, and valuable referrals for short-term support. Additionally, I provide long-term solutions through individual and/or family therapy.

Regardless of the individuals I work with or the hurdles they face, I deeply prioritize and cherish each therapeutic relationship. Every emotion and experience is embraced and honored within my therapy space: from moments of joy and laughter to tears of sadness, confusion, and even the complexities of love that may elude our current understanding. I aim to empower clients by guiding them to access their inner wisdom and develop trust in their internal compass. Through this process, they can cultivate a stronger sense of autonomy, foster self-discovery, and embark on a journey toward greater personal independence.

If you desire to feel more liberated, I invite you to embark on this journey with me. I offer flexible scheduling options and evening availability to better accommodate clients with busy schedules.
